pamphlets were distributed. As a part of the Convention program, the breakout session presented to an overflow crowd was a huge success . (Attendees were turned away because of fire marshall restrictions.)

Attendees learned of the worldwide diabetes epidemic from Rotarian Martin Silink, current President of the International Diabetes Federation; of Rotary programs providing diabetes related service worldwide from Rotarian Larry Deeb, past President of the American Diabetes Association; of the current program in the Caribbean of managed foot care for diabetics from Rotarian Martin Perry; and of the current status and objectives of the Rotarian Action Group for Diabetes (RAGDiabetes) from Rotarian Wayne Edwards.

Comments from attendees indicated the session was very educational and increased their knowledge of the diabetes epidemic and the many opportunities of service through the RAGDiabetes.
